The Isabella (Medium)
A brass bell like a ship's bell, used to navigate in uncertain circumstances like fog or in this case, a volcano. One one side of the Isabella is an erupting volcano. On the other is a small ship. In between, birds and sky. The ring is shaped like rope, and the top is the shape of a sunburst like the light on the sea. This heirloom piece is named for Isabella d'Este, the most discerning patron of the Renaissance. She was famous for her ability to navigate even the most complex situations, and to have the most exacting standards in her artistic commissions. She wore gowns designed by Leonardo da Vinci. Our jewelry is inspired by shipwrecks, and our Isabella pendant reminds us that shipwrecks are authenticated by their bells, because the sea can claim everything else but the name on the bell remains. The Isabella pendant makes a gorgeous sound as you move through the world, navigating uncertainty, authentically you. The pendant comes on a thirty inch gold filled rolo chain. The Isabella comes in three sizes. The Baby Isabella is just over half an inch. The medium (this pendant) is around an inch. The largest is $365 and it is an inch and a third. All three are functional bells, but only the medium and large versions ring.
